I did a variation of this recipe for my moms group and it was a big hit! I will make this a staple in my house.

1- rotisserie chicken or 4 chicken breasts( shred chicken halfway through)
    1 can of white beans
    1 can of garbanzo beans
    1 jar of salsa verde
1 small can of diced green chiles

    Cook on low 4-6 hours

Add in sour cream 30 minutes before serving and hen use sharp cheddar cheese to top it off. Yum!

I add a jar of alfredo sauce, pepperjack & colby cheese, and taco seasoning! Adds a great creaminess and spice to it! My family loves eating it with scoop chips.

I made this for dinner tonight. I used 2 cans great northerns and one can of garbanzos. I also used Herdes salsa verde and a can of diced green chiles in place of “red” salsa to keep this green and white. I added a packet of McCormick White Chili seasoning since the recipe didn’t call for any seasonings. We ate it over brown rice and it was delicious!

I just made this! SO yummy! For my salsa, I used Great Value white corn and black bean! I think it added a nice touch. I also threw in a smidge of cumin. Totally making this again!

My family loved this recipe, though I had trouble with the bean descriptions as well. I used dried beans and let it cook all day (after soaking the beans all night). The beans were still crunchy, however the flavor delicious.

My only issue is that I have a lot left over as we are a small family. I would REALLY LOVE to see nifty ways to re-serve crocked items as leftovers in addition to freezing the rest or eating the same thing every day for a week.

I ended up using 4 cans of great northern beans, and added 2 tsp of cumin. It came out splendidly. I brought it to work for the party and it was enjoyed by all. I got quite a few requests for the recipe.

I couldn’t find any large glass jars of northern beans. Can canned beans be substituted? I’m assuming the recipe is calling for pre-cooked beans.
