Venison Pot Roast – Great recipe for pot roast made with venison

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Pounds Venison Roast
  • 4-5 Potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 Medium Onions, quartered
  • 1 Package Baby Carrots
  • 2 Beef Bouillon Cubes
  • 2 Cups Hot Water

Directions

  1. Step One

    Put one onion in the bottom of the slow cooker, then add roast.

  2. Step Two

    You can sear it in a pan on the stove first if you prefer, I have done it either way.

  3. Step Three

    Season roast with a little salt and pepper if you wish.

  4. Step Four

    Cover roast with the remaining onion, potatoes, and carrots.

  5. Step Five

    Dissolve the bouillon cubes in the 2 cups of water, and pour over the roast.

  6. Step Six

    Cook on high for 4/5 hours or low for 8/10 (depending on size of your roast).
