Crockin’ Cream Corn

Although this is a new recipe in our holiday mix this year, it has that long time family favorite feel! Delicious, and it looks pretty too- the perfect addition to your holiday table.

Ingredients

2 pounds frozen whole kernel corn
1 (14 ¾ oz) can cream corn
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup green onions or chives, chopped
1 (3-ounce) package real bacon bits
1 (8-ounce) cream cheese

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
3. Give the corn a good stir and you can switch heat to warm until ready to serve.

*Use 4 to 6 quart slow cooker
*Serves 8
*You can easily double this recipe if you need more. You might want to increase cook time 2 hours.

Cranberry Orange Relish

Holiday scents are just as recognizable as flavors, and this one will have you begging for more in both categories! This delicious cranberry recipe cooks while you enjoy the holiday aroma all day long. It is sure to be an inviting smell for your guests!

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups white sugar
2 cups orange juice
2 (12 to 16-ounce) packages fresh or frozen cranberries
1 zest of an orange peel

Directions
1. Pour orange juice into the slow cooker.
2. Add sugar and cinnamon.
3. Whisk together until sugar is dissolved.
4. Add cranberries and zest of an orange.
5. Stir to combine.
6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
7. Serve warm or chilled, whichever you prefer!

*This also serves as a wonderful holiday aroma while cooking!
*Use 5 to 6 quart slow cooker
*Serves 10 or more

    I love this corn recipe HOWEVER, print and save it because it’s next to impossible to find on this site unless you search Thanksgiving sides! Does not show up under “corn” or “creamed corn”!

    I love the Corn Casserole. Have been making this for my holiday dinner for past 4 years. My entire family loves it and not a crumb left. Delicious! Thank you!
