With this stuffing made in the crockpot, you'll be sure to have plenty to feed everyone at a family gathering


  • 1/2 Cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 Cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 Cup butter, cubed
  • 6 Cups dry bread cubes
  • 1 large sweet potato, cooked, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 Cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 Cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 Pound poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 Teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 Cup raisins


  1. Step One

    In a large skillet, saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients.

  2. Step Two

    Spray a 3 quart slow cooker with cooking spray.

  3. Step Three

    Transfer all ingredients to slow cooker, and cook on LOW for 4 hours or until vegetables are tender.

    I must say this was delicious! i loved it because it was more healthy than standard stuffings. i put 3 sweet potatoes in mine, & I added a drizzle of maple syrup & did not add the raisins. it was a hit with my family too! thank you!
