Ingredients

  • 3-4 Medium potatoes peeled and cut baby carrots
  • 3-5 Pounds Roast
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Package Onion Soup Mix

Directions

  1. Step One

    Place all items into the crock pot, salt and pepper to taste, and cook on low heat 8-10 hours.

  2. Step Two

    There's no need to add water and you have plenty of gravy. I sometimes add a small onion or the onions from a drained can of French Onion Soup for extra flavor. Adding the soup changes the consistency of the gravy a little and it's not as thick.

    Hey Jennifer, your roast needs to be thawed. If it is frozen it will be at an unsafe temperature for too long. Also, if it is frozen, it is less likely to super tender with that fall apart goodness.
