A wonderful Mexican dish that I have converted to the crockpot.
This is very good. If you like, 2 hrs before done you can put ketchup on top of loaf and let cook the last 2 hrs. I cook mine like this all the time now as in...
Complete meal in one!
These stuffed peppers are a great way to get those veggies in!
- 1 and 1/2 Pounds Raw ground meat
- 1/2 Cup rice (not instant)
- 3 green peppers (tops cut off and rinsed out)
- 3 Cans tomato soup
- 2 Cans water
Mix the raw meat and rice together and stuff into peppers and place in the crock.
With the leftover meat and rice, make into balls and place around peppers where there is room.
Pour tomato soup and the water over the peppers/meat.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5 hours.
