These stuffed apples are a delicious and healthy dessert made with raisins and brown sugar!
Ingredients
- 6-8 Whole Medium Apples
- 1/4 Cup Seedless Raisins
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Soft Butter
- 1 Cup Hot Water
- 3 Teaspoons Concentrated Orange Juice
- 2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
Directions

Step One
Insert your slow cooker liner.

Step Two
Wash and Scoop out the core from top of the apple, leaving a well.

Step Three
Do not cut all the way through and don't peel them.

Step Four
Stuff each apple with 2 heaping tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and, 1 tablespoon of raisins.

Step Five
Sprinkle the remaining sugar & cinnamon over the tops.

Step Six
Mix the hot water and concentrated orange juice.

Step Seven
Drip the orange juice over the apples.

Step Eight
Cover the cooker and cook on low for 4 - 6 hours, or until the apples are tender.
