I have used this recipe many times now! I alternate using steaks and using beef roast each time. My family loves this one. It turns out great, thank you!

Can I do a mixture of Beef Broth and Beef Consume’?

You want them to be on the bottom of your crock, Roxanne, so they’re sitting in the broth and seasonings. You may have to cut them to get them to fit. Otherwise, use a larger crock or a couple of smaller crocks. Hope this helped!

For this i would need to cook about 3 steaks, is it ok if they are overlapping eachother? also do the steaks need to be covered in the broth?

We just buy whatever is on sale (flank, sirloin, etc)! You might have to cut them in half to get them to fit. Just depends on the size of your crock :)

What kind of steak do you use for this?
