OPTIONAL:
My husband likes a crunchy layer on top, so I transfer the food to a 9x13 and sprinkle a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs on top and set under the broiler til it's got a crispy layer on top. I'm too chicken to set my crock insert under the broiler. I'm afraid it might crack! ENJOY!

I made this for my family, but did not add the Rotel cause I know my kids would complain about it. But it was a winner without the Rotel. Hubby said it was a winner too. Cooked for 4 hours on High and added regular cooked macaroni at the end. I did season the chicken.

Sounds like a winner! Glad to hear y’all like this one :) Happy Crockin’, y’all!

I made this for my dad’s birthday, everyone wanted the recipe! I don’t like mushrooms, so I used cream of chicken in place of the cream of mushroom.

I made this a few day ago. It was so good but I added more cheese. I had trouble with the cheese sticking to the sides even though I sprayed it. It will now be a keeper at our house. I’m thinking of adding bacon next time. We loved all those leftovers! Thanks so much
