Comfort food with a kick!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 chicken breasts
  • 1 Pound Kraft Velveeta Queso Blanco
  • 10 oz Can Rotel
  • 1/2 Cup chicken broth
  • 10 oz Can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 10 oz Can Cream Of Celery Soup
  • 1/2 Teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 box of Dreamfields low carb ELBOW noodles
  • 1/2 Cup Bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Step One

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Step Two

Put chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker and mix everything else together, except the noodles and bread crumbs, and pour on top of the chicken.

  3. Step Three

Cook on HIGH 4 hours or LOW for 6.

  4. Step Four

Cook your noodles according to package instructions. Add cooked noodles to your crock and mix together for the last 10 minutes of cooking.

  5. Step Five

    Stir again just before serving.

  6. Step Six

    OPTIONAL:
My husband likes a crunchy layer on top, so I transfer the food to a 9x13 and sprinkle a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs on top and set under the broiler til it's got a crispy layer on top. I'm too chicken to set my crock insert under the broiler. I'm afraid it might crack! ENJOY!

I made this for my family, but did not add the Rotel cause I know my kids would complain about it. But it was a winner without the Rotel. Hubby said it was a winner too. Cooked for 4 hours on High and added regular cooked macaroni at the end. I did season the chicken.

I made this for my dad’s birthday, everyone wanted the recipe! I don’t like mushrooms, so I used cream of chicken in place of the cream of mushroom.

I made this a few day ago. It was so good but I added more cheese. I had trouble with the cheese sticking to the sides even though I sprayed it. It will now be a keeper at our house. I’m thinking of adding bacon next time. We loved all those leftovers! Thanks so much
