Beef Stroganoff with Cream Cheese – made in a slow cooker
A wonderful, hearty soup that takes only minutes to prep. Pair it with fresh bread from your bread machine and you'll have a down home meal with little effort.
This is stew meat cooked in the slow cooker with burgundy wine, as well as other ingredients. I got it from my niece and is one of our favorite beef meals.
My family favorite! We love this on cooler nights. Very hardy and filling!!
- 3 Pounds stew beef
- 1 Can Cream of chicken/mushroom soup
- 1 Can Cheddar Cheese soup
- 1 Package Lipton's Beefy Onion soup (1 envelope)
sear meat in hot oil until browned - mix in beefy onion soup mix, stir until well coated & transfer to slow cooker
Mix cheddar & creamed soups together and pour mixture over the beef cubes in slow cooker
Cook on low 7-8 hours
Serve over garlic mashed potatoes, hot rice or buttered noodles
