Slow Cooked Tuscan Beef Stew – A great recipe for the slow cooker


  • 1 Can Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1 Can Condensed Beef Broth
  • 1/2 Cup Red Wine or water
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes with Italian Herbs
  • 2 Cups Carrots, chopped
  • 2 Pounds Stew Meat
  • 2 Cans White Kidney Beans


  1. Step One

    Stir all ingredients except beans together in slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until beef is fork-tender.

  3. Step Three

    Stir in beans.

  4. Step Four

    Increase the heat to high for 10 minutes.

    Uh-oh!! I have this crockin right now, but just re-read the recipe and now see I wasn’t supposed to add the beans until the end. Hope it turns out OK, but smells delish!!! LOVE your recipes Jenna & Nicole!!!

    Great Lundy! We definitely have a heavy hand with the seasonings when it comes to crockin’. It seems cooking you food for so long can suck some of the flavor out sometimes. Good call!

    I made this a couple of weeks ago and the comments were that it smelled amazing when you walked in the door, but the flavor didn’t measure up to that great aroma. It was a little under seasoned. So I made it again and added an envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. That was the perfect fix! I love this recipe because it is so very quick to throw together. Thanks for the great recipes, Crockin’ Girls!
