A flavorful soup that you can change up or serve with various sides, salad, bread, over pasta, etc. :)
I LOVE Chicken Tortilla Soup. It is my favorite soup ever and I just had to come up with my own recipe for it! I loved the idea of not cooking the chicken...
slow cooked chicken and rice
- 3 Cans Condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 Cups Quick cooking rice
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Pound Boneless skinless chicken breast or tenders
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 Cup Chopped celery
Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker and top with chopped celery.
Add cream of chicken soup, water, and seasonings to taste.
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours and the last 30 minutes add the cooked rice to the chicken mixture.
