slow cooked chicken and rice

Ingredients

  • 3 Cans Condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Cups Quick cooking rice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Pound Boneless skinless chicken breast or tenders
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped celery

Directions

  1. Step One

    Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker and top with chopped celery.

  2. Step Two

    Add cream of chicken soup, water, and seasonings to taste.

  3. Step Three

    Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours and the last 30 minutes add the cooked rice to the chicken mixture.

    Hey Andrea…cook your rice first and then add it to your crock the last 30 minutes of cooking.
    And Lela…we don’t include the nutritional info on the recipes. Lots of our recipes are submitted by friends and people who use the page.
