Chicken Nacho Bake – recipe made in slow cooker

  • 3 Cans Condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Cups Quick cooking rice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Pound Boneless skinless chicken breast or tenders
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped celery


  1. Step One

    Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker and top with chopped celery.

  2. Step Two

    Add cream of chicken soup, water, and seasonings to taste.

  3. Step Three

    Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours and the last 30 minutes add the cooked rice to the chicken mixture.

    Hey Andrea…cook your rice first and then add it to your crock the last 30 minutes of cooking.
    And Lela…we don’t include the nutritional info on the recipes. Lots of our recipes are submitted by friends and people who use the page. There are some great apps and websites though where you can plug in your recipe and it will give you the nutritional info. Here’s one we like that does it for ya:

    trying this tonight, but changed it up a bit since I didn’t have celery and substituted 1 can of cream of celery soup for 1 of the cans of cream of chicken soup…..and do you every publish the nutritional information for your recipes?
