So far the kids and I love it!! I made a few changes. I used ground turkey meat and also added carrots and a green bell pepper to the first step. With the liquid ingredients I used apple cider vinegar and dijon mustard. Then I didn’t think it was enough liquid so I squirted in a little more ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire, added 2 8oz. cans of tomato sauce and eyeballed in some tomato paste. It might be a little more liquidy than what I intended but it still works on buns. Would probably work over rice or noodles or as the base for a Shepard’s pie:-) Loving my crock lately!

Made this in October and it was well received then. Am making it again this weekend by popular request. I did add green pepper and extra onion as the group I made it for then loves onions and green pepper.

Betty, at this time we do not have a print option for the website. Many people copy and paste to a word document. Hope this helps.

can you tell me where it is.

I’ve made this several times for my family and they love it – I also add a little extra ketchup and some honey and shorten the cooking time a bit. Delicious!

I think this is a good recipe, I did however add about 1/4 cup more of ketchup. I also added some honey because we like our sloppy joes a little sweeter than this recipe.

I would cut the cooking time in half After 5 hours, it started to burn around the edges. While my kids enjoyed this, my husband and I weren’t swept away. Probably won’t be making this again.
