Sloppy Joes II – Made easy in the slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound ground beef or turkey, browned
  • 1/3 Cup celery, chopped
  • 1/3 Cup bell pepper chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 Teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Cup water
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 Cup ketchup

Directions

  1. Step One

    Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Cook on low for 4-6 hours.

  3. Step Three

    Serve on hamburger buns.

    I tried this for my husband and I and we LOVED it! I had never made sloppy joes before this, and I’m making them again today…again….LOVE this recipe! I am not able to eat bread, so I spread mine over some noodles and it’s still fantastic!
