This traditional Thanksgiving dish is by far one of our favorites! Use your slow cooker to do most of the cookin' while the Turkey is roasting in the oven.
- 4 - 6 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 Cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Mix in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or LOW for 4 to 6 hours or until potatoes are tender to touch with a fork.
1 1/2 cups pecan
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small to medium bowl add the first three ingredients and drizzle butter on top.
Stir to coat. Transfer sweet potatoes into a baking dish. Sprinkle topping over sweet potatoes.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.
