Shredded Beef Tacos – A delicious and easy recipe for the slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 Cups water
  • 1-2 Packages taco seasoning
  • 10 Ounces taco sauce
  • 1 Can diced green chilies

Directions

  1. Step One

    Place beef and onion in slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Combine water and seasoning mix in bowl; pour over meat and onion.

  3. Step Three

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until tender.

  4. Step Four

    Remove meat to cutting board and shred.

  5. Step Five

    Place beef in large bowl and stir in taco sauce and chilies.

  6. Step Six

    Return to slow cooker until ready to eat.

    This is amazing! I have never done well with chuck roast, but decided to give it a try. Needless to say I am making it for dinner tonight and doubling the recipe hoping for leftovers.
