Sally’s Crockin’ Cabbage Casserole
Combined a few different recepies and tips from a few friends.
Super easy to make and so delicious! All it takes is ramen noodles, shredded cabbage, almonds, white wine vinegar, and sugar.
Cabbage stew is an easy and healthy recipe to make on those cold days, simply combine ingredients into slow cooker.
A vegetable casserole with turkey sausage or made without the sausage and can be a vegetarian casserole. This is a one dish meal. Very delicious served with a hot skillet of cornbread.
- 4 medium potatoes. sliced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 Pound turkey smoked sausage
- 1 Can green beans, drained
- 1 Whole cabbage, sliced
- 2 Teaspoons sugar
- 1 Teaspoon each, salt & pepper
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Cups water
Slice the vegetables in approximately the same size so they will be done at the same time.
Place ingredients in a slow cooker in the order of the first seven listed above.
Sprinkle the sugar, salt & pepper over the top, drizzle on the oil.
Pour the water over all. Cover and cook for approx. 3 hours or until potatoes & carrots are tender.
