I just put this in to cook for dinner tonight! This is my first recipe on the site…I felt a little nervous about leaving my crockpot all day with so little liquid so I poured a soup can of water over it, stirred & set on low for 10 hours. Do y’all think that will be okay? I hope it doesn’t dilute it too much!!

I made this tonight and used only 1 packet (thank goodness!!) of McCormick Ranch Dip Seasoning Mix. Apparently the “dip” part must make a huge difference because the dish was SO SALTY that we could hardly eat it! My 5 year old, who normally eats most everything, declared immediately that she couldn’t eat it and eventually ate the pork after we scraped off the sauce. I really wanted to like it, but it was WAY overboard on the sodium! I much prefer the “Ranch Pork Chops” which uses just Ro-tel tomatoes and Ranch seasoning. Is there a difference I didn’t know about between the Ranch Dip mix and Ranch Seasoning Mix?

If you only have 2 chops Cindy, I would just use 1 can of soup and 1 pkg of seasoning. ENJOY girl and Happy Crockin’ to ya!

I only have a pckg of pork chops with just 2 in it will it work for just 2 chops?

My pork chops came out great! I strained out all of the fat and mushrooms and thickened the sauce with some cornstarch to make a gravy.

Not a review, but a question– Is it possible to cook on “LOW” for 6-8 hours, instead of the 4 on high?

This recipe is so delicious. Pork usually tends to be salty on its own, so I use one ranch pack instead of two.

If it doesn’t Kim, you can always add some extra seasoning at the end or even give it a good squirt of ranch dressing while it’s crocking if you have some of that on hand, too. ENJOY!

Well, I tweeked this recipe…used chicken breasts, 2 cream of chicken soup and ONE pkg of Ranch seasoning. Hopefully it will still have lots of flavor since I only used one Ranch. Looks great so far…still cooking!
