Chopped Tomatoes, , Water, Medium Onion, cut in chunks, Carrots, cut in chunks, Roast, and News Potatoes
Grandma’s pot roast is a satisfying warm comfort food that is made easy by cooking in the slow cooker
Savory, saucy comfort food.
- 1 1 oz envelope dry onion soup mix
- 3 Pounds beef chuck roast
- 16 Ounces can jellied cranberry sauce
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
Place onion soup mix in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Add roast in the slow cooker and top with cranberry sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Remove roast, and set aside.
Set slow cooker to High.
Whisk together butter and flour.
Slowly add mix into the liquid remaining in the slow cooker to create thick gravy.
