Poppy Seed Chicken
This is great with Wild rice or white rice so juicy. My family really enjoys this dish. Serve with fresh veggie's of your choice.
Grab that leftover baked chicken! This takes about 10 minutes of prep time. Enjoy this almost effortless meal.
- 2 Cups leftover cooked chicken, cubed
- 16 Ounces Sour Cream
- 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken soup
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, melted
- 1/3 Cup Poppy Seeds
Cube up your leftover chicken, and toss it in the crock.
Crush 1 sleeve crackers. I find Ritz's crackers work best. Pour the melted butter over the crushed crackers and stir to coat.
Mix together the Sour Cream and the Cream of Chicken Soup.
Add the cracker mixture and the poppy seeds to the sour cream mixture, and blend together. It's right when the poppy seeds look evenly distributed.
Pour into the crock pot over the chicken and put the lid on it.
Cook on LOW for 1 hour.
