Get your morning off to a great start with a bowl of heart-warming oatmeal, featuring a crockin' twist of classic flavor and family-favorite Nutella.
- non-stick cooking spray
- 1 cup steel-cut oats (has to be steel-cut)
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 heaping Tablespoon Nutella
- 3 heaping Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch of salt
- sliced banana (optional)
- walnuts (optional)
- shredded coconut (optional)
- honey (optional)
Spray a 6 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients, except for toppings, in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours.
Stir well, and serve in individual bowls.
Top with your favorite toppings.
