No Time For Chopping Beef Stew

This is stew meat cooked in the slow cooker with burgundy wine, as well as other ingredients. I got it from my niece and is one of our favorite beef meals.
Yes, its technically cheating, but when you're trying to get lunches packed, 2 kids out the door to the bus stop and myself to work on time, it works!!
- 2 Pound Cubed Beef Stew Meat - Frozen
- 1 Package Wylers Beef Stew Starter
- 1 Package Bisquick (for dumplings)
Spray crock with non-stick spray or use slow cooker liner.
Add 5 cups of water and contents of the Beef Stew Starter. Stir to combine.
Put frozen beef stew meat (no need to separate it) on top and push down to cover. Cook on LOW all day.
When I get home, I break up the meat and turn to slow cooker to high. Prepare Bisquick dumplings according to package directions.
Drop dumplings by large spoonfuls on top of stew. Cover and cook until dumplings are done (usually about 20 min or so).
