Red Beans and Rice
- 1 Pound Dried red beans
- 7 Cups Water
- 1 Small onion, chopped
- Ham bone or ham hocks
- 3 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 Pound Hot Smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 Tablespoon Creole seasoning
In the slow cooker place all ingredients.
Cook on low for 7 hours or until the beans are tender.
If you want less juice just mash the beans while it cooks.
Serve over cooked rice.
