Chicken and Sweet Potato Stew
The yummy tang of fresh cranberries combines with savory cinnamon and ginger to make a completely delicious fall crockin' meal!
Hot, delicious mulled wine with just a bit of cider to sweeten it up. I highly recommend using a metal ladle and decorating your slow cooker in a festive manner :) Enjoy!
- 2 large bottles Cabernet or other dry red wine
- 4 Cups Apple Cider (not apple juice), preferably unpasteurized
- 2 Packages Mulled Wine mix (follow directions as to ratio)
- 1 of each: Orange, Lemon, Lime - sliced
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 Teaspoons Clove
Combine all ingredients and stir in mulling mix thoroughly until well combined.
Let simmer on low for at minimum of 2 hours. Stir frequently throughout your party to mix up.
