Yummy applesauce that freezes well and looks adorable in jars as holiday gifts.
- 6-8 Apples, cored, cut into chunks
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Saigon cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
Place apple pieces in the slow cooker
In a separate bowl mix together remaining ingredients.
Pour mixture to cover apples. Stir until all apples are well coated.
Cover and cook for 4 hours on LOW. After cooked, you can mash or leave chunky.
