Roast is a great meal for entertaining a hungry crowd, and salsa roast is a nice twist on the traditional roast.
Serve Italian Roast Beef on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese! It’s easy to pick out the large slices of onions and peppers for the kiddos who are picky! Enjoy!
- 1/2 Jar Pepperoncini peppers half the juice (preferably cut not whole peppers-found in the pickle aisle)
- 1 Can Beer
- 1 Can Beef Broth
- 1/2 Medium onion (cut in big slices)
- 1 Roast (any kind that will shred when cooked)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Package Provolone cheese
- 8 Hoagie rolls
Mix first four ingredients. If you like it spicy, you can add all the peppers and juice. If the peppers are whole, cut a slit in them, so the juice can escape.
Add Roast and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook on high for 2 hours and then low for 6-8 more until meat is shredded.
