Directions

  1. Step One

Before you go to bed, put the pork roast in the slow cooker. Add 1 can of chicken broth. Sprinkle the packet of Italian dressing seasoning on the roast. Let it cook overnight on LOW.

In the morning, shred the roast. Drain the jar of Giardiniera and add to the roast. (I cut up some of the larger pieces before adding) Add Italian seasoning to taste. Add the other can of chicken broth.

This recipe tasted pretty good, but really smelled bad while it was cooking. I was afraid it would taste bad, too. I wasn’t really sure how to serve it, so I just served it on rolls and had it as sandwiches. My boyfriend and I both liked the flavor. I should have gotten a bigger pork loin, though. I got a $9 pork loin (can’t remember the weight) and this ended up being really soupy. i had to drain off lots of chicken broth. If I make this again, I will get a bigger pork loin.
