Homemade Chicken and Mushroom


  • 2-3 Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless, thawed)
  • 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Pepper
  • 1 Whole Medium Shallot, minced
  • 1 Cups Mushroom Caps, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tablespoons Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth (low sodium)
  • 3 Tablespoons Skim Milk
  • 2 Whole Green Onions, chopped


  1. Step One

    Cut chicken breasts in half, season chicken with pepper on both sides and place in a sprayed slow cooker on HIGH for about 2 hours.

  2. Step Two

    Add all remaining ingredients and cook for an additional 1-2 hours or until mushrooms are tender and chicken is cooked through.

  3. Step Three

    If additional liquid is needed, add skim milk or chicken broth 1 tablespoon at a time.
