Green beans and new potatoes make the best side dish to any feast, and this slow cooked side dish is easy to make. Slow cooker side dishes for entertaining.


  • 2 large Cans Cut Green Beans
  • 4-6 New Potatoes, quartered with skin on
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 2 Slices of uncooked bacon, cut into 4 pieces each
  • 4 Chicken Bouillon cubes


  1. Step One

    pour green beans and liquid into slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Wash and quarter the new potatoes and add them to the crock along with bell pepper, uncooked bacon, and chicken bouillon cubes.

  3. Step Three

    Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

    Not at all, Beth! New potatoes are just young (small) potatoes with thinner skin. A bag of small potatoes would probably be perfect!
