French Onion Soup – A delicious recipe for the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 5 Small onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Cans Beef consomme (10 oz)
  • 2 Cans Beef broth (14 oz)
  • 8 French bread slices
  • 1 Cup Shredded Gruyere or swiss cheese
  • 1 Package Onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Step One

    Combine onions, broth, consomme, and soup mix in slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Cook on HIGH for 4 hrs. or Low for 8 hrs.

  3. Step Three

    Top bowls of soup with bread and melt cheese on top under broiler.
