French Onion Chicken – A tasty recipe for the slow cooker
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 8 Ounces Bottle of French Salad Dressing
- 1 Package Onion Soup Mix
- 1 Can Cranberry Sauce
Directions

Step One
Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir to coat chicken.

Step Two
Cook on low for 8 hours.

Trying this tonight :) We made this at my Mom’s house a week ago, but used a pork tenderlion was so good! we put it over mashed potatoes. Can’t wait to try it with chicken.

Carla, you sure can. We prefer “low and slow” because the meat is more tender. Of course, sometimes we need it made faster, so crock on HIGH about 4 hours. Be sure the internal temp of your chicken reaches 165 degrees. Happy Crockin’!

I tried this tonight using a large pack of boneless skinless chicken thighs, kens steakhouse country french dressing and oceanspray whole berry cranberry sauce. It was delicious, great flavor and the kids loved it! Served it with vigo yellow rice and steamed brocolli, glad I tried it!
