Just a recipe I created off the top of my head
This easy peasy chicken taco meat recipe is a great option for entertaining the masses.
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 3-4 Chicken Breasts (rinsed and fat removed)
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Package Taco seasoning
Put chopped onion on bottom of crock, layer with breasts (leave them wet from rinsing), add water.
Sprinkle Taco Seasoning on top and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When you are ready to eat, remove cover and use 2 forks to shread the chicken and onions.
All the juice will be absorbed back into the chicken meat. Use this mixture for tacos, burritos or on top of lettuce for a chicken taco salad
