Yield Serves 4-6

A super easy and delicious roast with a to die for gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 2-4 lb roast
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 can condensed French Onion Soup
  • 1 can condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 4 Carrots, peeled and cut into 1" pieces

Directions

  1. Step One

    Spray slow cooker with cooking spray.

  2. Step Two

    Season roast with salt and pepper and brown in skillet until seared.

  3. Step Three

    Place in slow cooker and arrange onions around roast.

  4. Step Four

    Mix together soups and pour over roast.

  5. Step Five

    Cook in low 6-8 hours or until fork tender.

  6. Step Six

    About 1 hour before done, add carrots to cooker.

  7. Step Seven

    Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.

    It was dry by itself. The gravy juice helped though. Will not make again.
