Drunken Roast – Slow cooker recipe for drunken roast made with beer

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Pounds Chuck Roast
  • 1 Can Beef Broth
  • 1 Can Beer
  • 1 Package Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • Rolls
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

  1. Step One

    Put roast in the bottom of slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Pour beef broth over all.

  3. Step Three

    Pour beer into slow cooker.

  4. Step Four

    Sprinkle with dry lipton onion soup mix.

  5. Step Five

    Cook on low 6-8 hours (The roast will just break apart with a fork it is so tender).

  6. Step Six

    Serve on rolls and top with mozzarella cheese. Dip into juice like French Dip!

    Simply and Yummy! I am trying to make something off your website every Sunday and yesteday I made this. Husband gave me the the thumbs up! I used a Arm roast with Busch light beer. I also fried up some onions to add to my sandwhich which gave it even more taste. I will make this again. Wonder what I will make next week??? Thanks :)

    We don’t get fancy with the beer…just get what’s on sale at your grocery store. Coors, Michelob, etc. You could even use “light!”
