A melt in your mouth steak with a tomato mushroom sauce! My father, who is no longer with us loved swiss steak, In honor of him, I created this easy recipe that is done when you get home from work.

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Top round steak or london broil
  • 1 Can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Can Stewed tomato (italian herb flavor)
  • 1 Can Beef broth

Directions

  1. Step One

    Place steak in bottom of slow cooker

  2. Step Two

    Mix all other ingredients together in a small bowl and pour over meat.

  3. Step Three

    Cover and cook on for six to eight hours on LOW.

  4. Step Four

    I serve over white rice and a side of green beans, just like my dad liked it!

    I am cooking this now ! the sauce seems a bit watery will this thicken up as it cooks ?

    We really liked this. Cooked the full 8 hours and it was very tender. –I had to laugh, though, at the Yield amounts. I’d need a much larger crock pot if I was going to feed the maximum amount! :) Keep calm and crock on!
