In Step One when you state to put the turkey in crockpot “with net on”, what do you mean?

Hey Girls – can you use a BONE-IN turkey in the crockpot or is this strictly for boneless meats? Hubby thought he was helping and bought us a little turkey to throw in our crockpot as an easy, go-to meal on a weeknight…I’d hate to break his heart by telling him we’ll still have to cook it in the oven… Thanks!

No liquid, Jennifer…the turkey will crock in its own juices. Be sure to save the broth when it’s done!

Do you put any sort of liquid in to cook it or just the rub and then place the turkey breast in the crock?
