Slow cooked Potato Breakfast - A delicious recipe for the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 Baking potatoes - sliced thick
  • 1 Onion - sliced medium
  • 1 Cup Shredded cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped peppers
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Butter
  • Meat (Any kind will do!)

Directions

  1. Step One

    Grease the slow cooker good.

  2. Step Two

    Layer the ingredients, all but the butter in the greased slow cooker.

  3. Step Three

    Salt and pepper then dot with butter.

  4. Step Four

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours, depending on the thickness of the potatoes.

  5. Step Five

    Recipe can be used as a main dish for breakfast or a side dish to any meal.

  6. Step Six

    Recipe can be doubled for larger get-togethers.

    You could alternate your layers, Angela, but we just put each ingredient in once and layered the next on top of it.

    When you say “Layer the ingredients…”, are you talking about layering them like a lasagna or put all the potatoes down then the onion and so forth?
