No Bake Spaghetti

Another one of my (Nicole) family favorites that I couldn’t resist the urge to crock! A lighter pasta dish when you are tired of cooking the same old thing....

Jessica, if I need to thicken up my meal I make a slurry of cornstarch. The more you add, the thicker it will get! http://www.ehow.com/how_2271843_make-cornstarch-slurry.html

I am just curious what I can do to thicken up the soup. I have had them in the crock pot for 4 hours on high, and it still seems very watery. Could I add flour? If I make these again, I will do at least half of the water it calls for.

Karen ~ depends on how hot your crock cooks. Just watch ’em the first time you crock ’em. You might only be able to go 6 hours on low, so they don’t dry out. cRock on!

We weren’t too crazy about these pork chops. They tasted like boneless pork chops boiled in soup!:( Have tried many other recipes and have loved all of them!

My husband asks for these at least once a week, the only alteration I have is instead of water I use whatever kind of broth I have on hand, I am making this today as it’s cold and rainy, thanks!!

These were great – family loved them.

These turned out great. The meat was super tender. I didn’t have Lipton onion soup mix so I used a palmful of Mrs. Dash. Cooking time was right on. I’d make this again. Simple and easy for this busy mom.
