Peanut Clusters and Hot Chocolate



This Crockin' Monday we are going to be making Peanut Clusters and Slow Crockin' Hot Chocolate. Both of these recipes are great gift ideas for teachers, neighbors, and friends. All who receive this will definitely feel the love from you this holiday season! Make sure an get enough for a double batch so that you can keep some for yourself... not to mention all of the samples you will need to try :)

Peanut Clusters
Ingredients:

1- 16 ounce jar unsalted peanuts
1- 16 ounce jar salted peanuts
4 ounces of German sweet chocolate
1- 12 ounce package semisweet chocolate chips
2 lbs. white almond bark (that's 2 packages)
Directions:

Place peanuts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place all the chocolate on top of the peanuts. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours. Remove lid and stir peanut mixture until chocolate is melted. Place spoonfuls of peanut mixture onto wax paper into individual servings. Let cool, until chocolate is hardened.

Slow Cookin' Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:

3 cups dry milk powder
1 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
7 cups water
Marshmallows and candy canes
Directions:

Combine all ingredients except for water, marshmallows, and candy canes in a 4-6 quart slow cooker and stir well. Whisk mixture while slowly adding the water. Cover, and cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring once during cooking time, and before serving. Pour into mugs and top with garnishes like marshmallows, candy canes, and or whipped topping! Enjoy!

    aaaaaamazing. I made these for everyone at Christmas... and I mean everyone. Neigbors, friends, work friends and my own family. I also shared the recipe with all of them. Loved cooling them on the screen porch in the cold, that way we could eat them faster!

    The only way to go for peanut clusters! I rarely eat the candies I make during Christmas, but had to make a second batch of this. So good and sooooooo easy!

    Tried the peanut clusters right before christmas. Had to make a second batch because the first batch didnt last long in my house!!! sooooo good!!!!

    We made the choc peanuts for xmas time, my grandsons who are 6 and 7 loved spooning the peanuts on wax paper and of course eating them. So easy...
