Made the Crockin Ham for Easter yesterday. I used only half a bag of brown sugar, put the spiral ham in face down, poured the pineapple over the top, then I poured the glaze mix that came with the spiral ham on top as well. Turned on the crock on low as we left for Easter Sunrise service and by 1:00 we sat down to a great Easter dinner! Family loved the ham, said it tasted as good as a honeybaked ham and if you have ever had one of those hams before, you know they are good! Great receipe - thanks for sharing!

Usually you can find a spiral ham at Aldis most of the time.

Our Wal-Mart and Sam's Club carry them year-round.

Gosh, I was REALLY looking forward to making this recipe today, and have been wanting to, for the past week or so, and was finally going to do it, and then we could NOT find a spiral slice ham at any of our HEB's. :( My hubby finally asked them about it, and they said they only carry them during the holiday seasons. So Crockin'Girls, do y'all only make this recipe during the holidays? Or if you make it during other times, what kind of ham do you buy? My son loves ham, and I was really excited about this recipe, b/c he's so picky. Unless you can give me any other ideas of how to do it w/ another kind of ham, and what kind, I guess I'll have to wait til Easter... :(.

Nancy, a 32 oz bag will work. Remember, you have to cover the bottom of your slow cooker before putting in the ham and then cover it with more brown sugar if your ham does not come with a glaze mix.

If you're on a PC - just hit "Ctrl" (control) and also press "P" - this is a "print" shortcut. This should allow you to print anything you see on your screen.

There are links for recipes. Try a different browser. I had to go to the site with Firefox to see the links. The thing I can not do is update my profile. :-(
