Chili Stew – A delicious recipe for the slow cooker
This bean recipe is a long time family favorite in the Marwitz household. We hope you love it just as much as we do. Happy Crockin' Y'all!
- 2 lbs pinto beans (washed, picked over and soaked)
- 1 white onion (diced)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic.
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water poured About an inch over the beans
- 1-2 cups picante sauce
- Chopped Cilantro to taste
Cook beans, onion, minced garlic, salt and pepper on LOW for 8 hours. Add in picante sauce and cilantro and cover for 30 minutes.
