Jalapeno Peppers

They are done when the skin of the jalapenos start to wilt and look wrinkly.
Serve hot or at room temperature. I like them best at room temperature.

Wow – this is delish. So very easy as well! I had everything on hand, it was perfect. I had 4 chicken breasts, but those huge ones that can feed two people each, so I knew I would need to create more broth so I added another can of soup (one can of chicken and one cream of mushroom – I don’t know what golden mushroom is), doubled the wine (I used some sauv blanc that I had open), and *nearly* double the cream cheese (I actually did about 1 and a half what it called for, that’s all I had). I actually just realized while writing this that I didn’t double the butter! Served it over brown rice with some garlic bread and corn, and the entire family loved it, even my 3 and 5 year old! YUM! Thanks for another great recipe!

Angela, This would be a good recipe to your frozen chicken strips. Instead of the cooking wine, you can easily use chicken broth. If your chicken is already fully cooked, you can cut down on the the cooking time.

I am trying to use some Tyson frozen chicken strips that I already have in the freezer. I wanted to used them in a Crockin Recipe. would this be a good choice, I had thought about more of a casserole or the easy BBQ chicken with the yellow onion…. But liked this recipe but I don’t want to have to go buy the cooking wine. Can you leave it out or add something less expensive. Thanks!!! : )

This recipe is delicious! My husband and I said it was the chicken version of Beef Stroganoff. I put in frozen chicken breasts and it was perfect. I shred the chicken a bit as I whisked the liquid at the end. I served it over egg noodles. The kids gobbled it up as well.
