Easy homemade cream of chicken soup is made with chicken broth, milk, flour, and salt to taste.  Use this healthy homemade option over store bought.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2-4 Tablespoons Flour
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Step One

    Combine broth, milk, 2 tablespoons flour, and salt in a small saucepan and bring to a boil; whisking continually.

  2. Step Two

    Remove from heat when reached to desired thickness. If not thick enough, add remaining 2 tablespoons of flour.

    I’ve used fat free before and it was tasty! I think freezing it would work great. You may need to add a little milk after it thaws to get it the right consistency.
