This is so tasty!

I tried to make the Beer Butt Chicken but you couldn't taste the seasoning all the way through the meat. This recipe you can taste it throughout! Play with it and see what else you can do with it!


  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • Olive oil
  • Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
  • Onion
  • Corona beer


  1. Step One

    Rinse breasts. Coat well with olive oil.

  2. Step Two

    Cover with Tony's spice so that it's a nice orange color.

  3. Step Three

    Place in slow cooker. Add 1/4 cup beer for every 2 breasts (or more if you like!).

  4. Step Four

    Cut or dice onion and scatter on top of chicken.

  5. Step Five

    Cook on low for 4 hours.

    Is it ok to use the Tony Chachere’s seasoning with no salt? My family is on low sodium and the no salt version basicailly tastes the same.

    I made this today and it was awesome! Easy and delicious! We had a Bud Light Lime in the fridge so I used that instead of the Corona. And I used frozen chicken breasts and cooked on low for 8 hours.
