Sloppy Joes II – Made easy in the slow cooker

Mimi’s Hamburger Dip

This is a wonderful dip served with Fritos. We never have any left when it is served at our home!

Cook Time 4 hrs

These beans are delicious and easy to fix!


  • 2 Can baked beans, NOT drained
  • 2 Can kidney beans, drained
  • 2 Can pinto beans, drained
  • 2 Can black beans, drained
  • 1 Pounds skinless smoked sausage, cut into coins
  • 1/2 Pounds bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 Pounds browned, drained hamburger
  • 1 and 1/2 Cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 Cups mustard
  • 1 large Vidalia onion, diced


  1. Step One

    Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    Stir until well blended and cook on low for 4 hours.

  3. Step Three

    Stir in bacon before serving.

  4. Step Four

    Serve with cornbread if desired.

    Easy, inexpensive and really delicious!!! I made it for friends and they insisted I make it for the church back-to-school picnic. One of the college boys there even asked for the recipe. With all the meat in this, it could be a meal, just add a salad and some cornbread or bisquits!
