Nothing hits the spot like a creamy pasta dish and this one is sure to please the whole family! Add a salad and dinner is complete- easy peasy!
The yummy tang of fresh cranberries combines with savory cinnamon and ginger to make a completely delicious fall crockin' meal!
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 Teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 Cup fresh cranberries
- 1 Cup orange juice
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 2 Tablespoons cold water
Mix all ingredients, except flour and water, in crock
Cover and cook on LOW 4-5 hours, until chicken is done.
Mix flour and cold water until smooth, add to pot for the last 15-20 minutes and cook until thickened.
I served with long grain and wild rice and a vegetable.
