You will love this recipe and so easy. There are about 10-12 wings to a pound. I guess it is according on if this is the main thing y’all are eating. I would say you need about 4 wings per person. Hope this helps. This is an easy recipe to double.
Molly
These sound so awesome! I was wondering I’m feeding about 15 people how many pounds of wings would you suggest? I’m not sure how much 1-2 lbs of wings will feed?

Hey Brittney, Red Hot makes a good one. Just be sure and get the Buffalo flavored one and not the hot.
Brittney
These wings turned out really good….mine only needed like 3 hours on high and next ill add more heat;) thanks

LOW for 8 hours can be done instead of HIGH for 4 hours, btw. Whichever you prefer :))
Brittney
And the hot sauce I’m using is franks red hot sauce original if that helps

Ok so I’m doing about 30 wings thats what fits in my slow cooker with it 3/4 way full….question I have is I’m gonna double the sauce and Im using homemade buttermilk ranch in place of the buffalo ranch, but can u tell me ur opinion of how much hot sauce I should use for the wings where they have a little spicy Kick but not too spicy ? Im feeding a variety of people kids and adults so was wondering how much to try to satisfy all needs lol

Brittney,
The time will be the same. Make sure it doesn’t exceed 3/4 full in your slow cooker. You will need to increase your sauce amount. The cream cheese and brown sugar will help cut down the heat. If you need it even more, use a regular ranch dressing and cut down the wing sauce or get mild.

And also what would be the recipe for this for the not so spicy sauce
Brittney
And also what would be the reci

If I do 4-6 pounds of wings in my crockpot cause it’s for a party does the time stay the same or do I need to do it on low for 8 hours
Valerie
I made this for the Packer playoff game last night and they were a huge hit! Super yummy not a wing left in the pot. :)

You can add a little slurry of cornstarch to it, Iliana.

Loved this!! Flavor was awesome but what do I need to do to make the sauce stick to the wings.. It was very saucy.. thanks!!!

This is a yummy one for sure, Jennifer! Feel free to sub the breast for the wings. Not a problem at all and you won’t need to adjust the time either. Happy Crockin’, girl!
Jennifer
I am excited to try this recipe, do you think that I could use cut up chicken breasts instead of chicken wings? Will I need to adjust the cook time for that?
