This is an easy soup I put together on impulse. It has become a family favorite!!

Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 Whole Chicken Thighs
  • 2 Cups Peeled carrot chunks
  • 28 to 32 Ounces Chicken broth
  • 1 Can Peas (drained)
  • 12 Ounces Frozen Cheese Tortellinis

Directions

  1. Step One

    Put chicken thighs,carrots and 2 cups chicken broth in slow cooker.

  2. Step Two

    cook on LOW for 6 hours.

  3. Step Three

    Cut chicken into pieces.

  4. Step Four

    Add peas and the rest of the chicken broth.

  5. Step Five

    Cook on LOW for another hour.

  6. Step Six

    Enjoy!!

    I read other sites and the tortellini says to put in last 20 minutes on high….I did 30 minutes and it was yummy!
