Love all y’alls tweaks and I love that we can tweak the crockin’ recipes.

I like this recipe, but I’ve found I need to cook the biscuits longer than 30 min. My cooker must not get as hot. I tweak the recipe a bit — add 2 cups of chicken stock, fresh carrots and celery… Spice it up a little with some poultry seasoning… Simple to make to your own taste and the kids LOVE it.

I have used this many times and LOVE IT, today I tweaked a little and used 2 cans of cream of chicken and 1 can cream of celery. I also added a few spices and chicken broth rather than water. Can’t wait it’s in the teens here today and a great comfort food!

Great recipe! I also tweaked it by adding fresh carrots and frozen peas. I also used 4 chicken breasts and 4 boneless thighs. I chose to add (2) chicken boullion cubes for richness. I definitely recommend adding the biscuits for the last FULL HOUR, not 30 minutes. TIP: Use the Pillsbury Grand NON-FLAKEY buttermilk biscuits!! Will definitely make again and again :)

    Kelly,
Make sure you keep your slow cooker on high and keep the lid on after adding the dumplings. Keep Crockin’! :)
