Slow Cooked Cheesy Potato Soup

Slow Cooked Cheesy Potato Soup – A tasty recipe for the slow cooker.

Mashed potatoes with carrots and cheese


  • 12 whole potatoes
  • 1 small Can carrots (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 Package longhorn grated cheese
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons butter


  1. Step One

    Cut, peal and boil potatoes until soft.

  2. Step Two

    In a large bowl combine potatoes, drained carrots, 2 Tbs of butter and 1 cup of milk. Mash ingredients with a potato masher and add salt and pepper to taste

  3. Step Three

    Add half of the potato mixture to your slow cooker and cover with half the cheese.

  4. Step Four

    Add the rest of the potato mixture and cover with the remaining cheese.

  5. Step Five

    Cook on low for 2 1/2 hours.
